Selección G is a range of 12 wines developed by Phil Crozier, wine director for Gaucho, which represents a series of wines made especially for the restaurants. They represent a majority of the grape varieties and styles in Argentina and represent terrific value for money. They are made in partnership with some of the leading wineries in Salta, San Juan, Mendoza and Patagonia. The Torrontes, Argentina's emblematic white grape varietal from Salta is made by Michel Torino, a chardonnay by Domaine Vistala in Mendoza, Viognier from Maipu made by Luigi Bosca, and a blend by Finca Sophenia of Torrones and Sauvignon Blanc, blended by Matias Michelini in Tupungato in the high part of the Uco Valley. They also make our Sauvignon Blanc and a rose of Malbec.

The Bonarda is a blend of 3 vineyard areas in the east of Mendoza, where it thrives and provides a great example of Argentina's second great varietal. Tempranillo is made from old vines in Maipu by Luigi Bosca, a Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec being from Lujan de Cuyo and made by Domaine Vistalba, and an award winning Syrah fom San Juan, made by Bodegas la Guarda. Lastly, a blend from Patagonia made by Fin del Mundo, made up of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

This is the culmination of a dream that we started 8 years ago to develop a full case of mixed wines that represent the major varietals of Argentina, made by those wineries that specialise in specific grape varieties in the regions that best represent the Terroir and character of Argentina.

Returns
Wine purchases can be returned unused and in original packaging to GAUCHO WEBSITE Fourth Floor, 7-9 Swallow Street, London W1B 4DE, within 30 days of purchase for a full refund on to the card used. This does not affect your statutory rights.
